You will find there is a lot of information available on the internet.  The first place to start is the recruitment section of the Cathay Pacific Website in detail.  Check the FAQ section for answers to common questions.  Once you have established you have the right qualifications, we suggest you browse the internet and read up on the find out what is expected of you and ensure you are fully prepared to complete your application. 

If you have any specific questions please contact us directly.

You will normally receive a response from Cathay within a few weeks.  You can use this time to research and prepare for an interview.

Cadets will go through the interview process in Hong Kong. 

Those applying for Second Officer or First Officer positions will have an initial interview at one of the Cathay Pacific Outports, if you are called for a second interview that will take place in Hong Kong.

Please contact us before you arrive and we will then be able to offer you assistance with relocation and orientation on your arrival.

The HKAOA has a Members’ Lounge at Cathay City which is open to all new recruits to the Company as well as members of the HKAOA.  HKAOA Staff are also available Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm.  We also host regular welcome functions for newcomers to the Company.

When you get to Hong Kong, please make sure you cross the road-bridge from Cathay City to the Airport Stores Building and make your way to AOA Members Lounge on the 6^th Floor.
